We see this with Aristotle who at first believed a heavier object and alighter object would fall at different rates of speed, and he was wrong in this intuition of hisdue to him not testing out the question. He could’ve used a big rock and a small rock3)Science could100% be wrong or always contain its flaws. In things that humans considersboth very true and very ridiculous. Examples being: gravity , dark matter and energy, blackholes4)In the universe most of what it is composed of is what we don't know about (being dark energy) andmost of what is on Earth (being our oceans) is not known about to well of either. Goes to say,a lot tolearn in this world5)“For most of us, our brains can not understand the awesomeness of the cosmos, andtherefore measure it.” … we have techniques like meters, trigonometry, and odometers forearth like measurements and others for space like measurements.6)Before astronomers discovered Dark energy, it seemed like some stars were older than theentire universe7)WHY Dark Matter is known to be here:When astronomers add up all the matter in all thestars and gas and dust visible with all different kinds of telescopes, it doesn't total nearlyenough to explain the motions they observe.The stars are moving around much faster thanthey should be! In other words,all the matter we can see is not enough to produce thegravity that is pulling things around.This problem shows up over and over again almostwherever we look in the universe.Not only do stars in galaxies move aroundfaster than expected, but galaxies within groups of galaxies do too.Theremust be something dark. We believe most of the dark matter is composed of newparticles smaller than atomsthat are different from anything scientists have ever detectedand studied. It seems that the very essence of most of the matter in the universe is differentfrom what you and I and rocks and trees and Earth and the Sun are made of. There isbelieved to be more than 50 times more dark matter than bright matter in the universe. -NASA8)Dark energy vs Dark Matter:Dark matter producesan attractive force (gravity),while dark energy producesa repulsive force (anti gravity).
