Learning Objective
Students will be able to explain how the chemical and electrical components of driving force influence
the movement of substances across cell membranes.
At each membrane potential, 1) circle the direction in which the chemical and electrical driving forces
are acting on the ion in the table; 2) draw arrows on the cell to represent the direction and magnitude of
each driving force; and 3) predict the net flux of the ion in the table.
