EZ-Pleeze Case StudyEZ- Pleeze is one of the leading beef and chicken producers in the United States. The company started its business in the early 2000’s in Statestown, Illinois. The company prides themselves on their employees being their biggest asset. Therefore, they like to invest into their employees. EZ-Pleeze strives for environmental sustainability, ensuring best business practices, volunteering, community philanthropy and making sure employees are always actively contributing and engaged. EZ-Pleeze has hit a hurdle with their business and they need to revamp their business to keep up with the competitors in the same line of business.EZ-Pleeze business structure is a hierarchical. It starts with their shareholders, founder, and the Board of Directors. From there, going downwards is the Chief of Operations, Directors, Executive Assistants, and staff. It has been announced that the original Founder of the company will be stepping down as of December, 2015. The organizational culture of the company has a direct link to the structure of reporting. Ez-Pleeze has strategic leaders that are in every level of the hierarchical. This ensures that the company’s goals, missions, and vision is being fulfilled. Ideally, the leadership would consist as follows:Chief Executive Officer/Founder: Tim Burnes; Tim is at the top of the decision making totem pole. He has the final say in all major changes within EZ-Pleeze. Chief of Operations: Brian Jansen; Brian oversees all business operations.Chief Financial Officer: Karen Haley; officer that manages the financial planning, financial strategies and financial reporting.Director of Marketing: John Kerrington; John is the leader in all of the marketing day-day-day operations and strategic planning.
