Closed book. You will be given necessary conversion factors and formulae except those on the “What you should know” sheet from Homework #1 and Graphing Basics . Bring to the test: Calculator, straight edge, pencil, eraser, Hokie passport Do NOT bring to the test: Cell phones, other PDA devices

What may be emphasized on the test: – Oral and visual presentations given by instructor/GTA in lecture/workshop – All assigned reading (textbook, handouts, online materials) – Graphing (by hand, MATLAB) – Linear, Power, Exponential functions – Flowcharting –A l i c e – Ethics reading and ethics video (Incident at Morales) – Systems approach – Contemporary issues discussed by faculty in lecture – Sustainability – Assigned work – In-class/In-workshop exercises
