Hogwarts is a fictional school in J.K. Rowling’s novel series Harry Potter. Described as a school where witches and wizards receive their education, Hogwarts is full of mysteries. Located in Scotland, the school teaches students aged eleven to seventeen. By exploring the admission process and lifestyle, one could see that Hogwarts is a perfect school for young wizards. Firstly, the admission process to Hogwarts is a rather different compared to those of regular schools. The first step to becoming a witch or wizard is verification via letter--however, these letters are not the everyday types of letters people would imagine. They are delivered by owls, rather than mailmen, and contain a welcome from Professor McGonagall as well as a list of school supplies. These school supplies can be bought at a place in London called Diagon Alley. Students are most importantly required a set of robes and a wand. Once the school supplies are bought, students are required to take a train to Hogwarts. They can catch this train
