Research About Toys Studies have looked at the impact of peers, teachers, families, and classroom and home environments on play interactions. Some believe the toys have a great impact on making children’s behavior as different toys have different influences. There are some surprising gender differences in toys. What sets the highest- scoring toys apart was that they prompt problem solving, social interaction, and creative expression in both boys and girls. Set aside previous conceptions about what inspires male and female play and objectively observe toy effects to be sure boys and girls equally benefit from play materials.
