Taylor Langlo Prof. Matheny Annotated Bibliography Comp II/Section 6118 Word Count:671 March 9 th ,2018 "Adapting Greek mythology for ' Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief'." UWIRE Text , 9 Feb. 2010, p. 1. General OneFile , ? u=lincclin_phcc&sid=ITOF&xid=7838abaf. Accessed 15 Mar. 2018. In this news article two UCLA students were interviewed about how they felt about how the author of the Percy Jackson books incorporated Greek mythology along with the American culture. One of the students stated that he did a good job but that the age of which Percy conquered all these quests was quite unrealistic. One student also said something about how Zeus who was in charge of all the gods has always been known for using “lightning bolts.” However, Rick portrays that there is only one lightning bolt and it has been stolen. To this student that was not very realistic and does not combine the Greek mythology with the American culture.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
