What is a Literature Review? Journal articles are generally very specific and only talk about one very specific piece of research. It is very hard for a reader to understand the whole topic area from a single journal article without reading other articles in that research area. Reading a journal article takes a fair bit of time and effort . A literature review summarises and critically analyses many key articles in one subject area to give the reader a quick overview of the topic, without having to read all those articles in full.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
