Describe an example, other than Florence Nightingale's contributions, where statistical application has greatly influenced or changed health care operations or practice. “Statistics in health care improve patient outcomes and ensure quality care by determining efficacy of research, identifying patient care trends with data, and utilizing evidence-based practice” (Ambrose, 2018, para 1).
