Work neatly and show all calculations. 3. All assumptions should be stated clearly. 4. One A4-sheet with only equations on both sides may be taken into the test venue. This sheet has to be handed in with the answer sheet. 5. Only answer the outcomes you need to. OUTCOME A [15] 1. Briefly explain in your own words what you understand about the concept that energy flows outside of, but around the conducting medium in an electric circuit. Draw a diagram to support your discussion. (5) 2. Write down Gauss’s laws in both integral and differential form for electric fields and magnetic fields and explain in your own words what the physical meaning is of each case. Use sketches if necessary. (4) 3. Look at the arrangement of the hollow conducting sphere and the point charge shown in figure 1.
