Gutierrez 2 Purpose Statement: The objective of this lab is to measure the buoyant force and number of objects. Data: Step 1: Iron Aluminum Weight of object out of water. 2.50 N .9 N Weight of object in water 2 N .5 N Weight force on object .5 N .4 N Step 2: Volume of water displaced 35 ml Mass of Water displaced 35 g Weight of water displaced .35 N 1. How does the buoyant on the submerged object compare with the weight of the water displaced. The buoyant force is equal to the weight of the water displaced. Step 3: 2. What is the relation between the buoyant force on any floating object and the weight of the object? A thing floats when its displaces its weights W in water, the weight of displaced water is the buoyant force. 3. How does the mass of the wood compare to the mass of the water displaced? The mass of the wood compare to the mass of the water is the same.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
