As we study and understand Applied Behavior Analysis, we learn that in our daily life, we do things that SD's and MO's, take part on why we behave in a certain way. SD (discriminative stimulus) is a stimulus ( person,taste,texture,environment,sound,smell or etc.) that evokes a behavior, that is followed by reinforcement or punishment. SD is the Antecedent stage in a 4- term contingency.(Cipani &Shock, 2011 p.21) Example: 1.) I am eating chicken nuggets and my dog is standing next to me. I said," Sit down" and he sit down and I said "good job" and I gave him chicken nuggets, my dog wagged his tail and on my next bite, he sat down without me telling him to sit down and look at me. Because the behavior of sitting down has been followed by the reinforcement in the past, hearing "sit down" when the chicken nuggets is present suggest the possibility of reinforcement if he sit down again. 2.) It is time for playground and the children in the classroom needs to clean up. The teacher said "Clean up Toys" (SD) and the
