THE SEARCH FOR A LEADER 2 In the current century, there is this issue of globalization that has been embraced by many entrepreneurs in different parts of the world. In this case, nearly all sectors and industries have adopted the idea of expanding their businesses across boarders so that not only to maximize on the profits but also do show the whole world what they can do or what is capable of being done, in other words, the expand due to prestige. Many people do try to do these, but just a few of them make it and achieve their goals and also make their visions com true. For this to be attained accordingly, leadership is essential and functional if a not perfect leader will be paramount. This paper will focus on how to search for a good leader and what parameters will be vital to cover when looking for a good leader. Leadership is very essential, primarily when people of different types are working under the same roof. In this case, leadership is perceived to initiate law and order and also motivate the employees for the instance of a firm to, to work jointly and in harmony. In this case, a leader can be defined as an individual who stimulates a group of people towards the feat of a goal (S.L. Wong, 2007). This notwithstanding, being a leader is all about having the capability to influence others, which in this case are the employees of a firm, so that they can achieve a specific goal or make it possible to attain a specified vision for the company. To add on this, they should also be committed to the attaining the same goals of the company and the vision of that company to (S.L. Wong, 2007). They should believe that what is required of them is possible to achieve when the people under his or her command aid him in achieving it. This will make them committed to their post and lead according to so that maximum can be achieved. As several theories on leadership state, a leader is usually born to be a leader though some state a leader can be made. This notwithstanding, there are those traits that define a leader.

THE SEARCH FOR A LEADER 3 These traits are as follows; a leader should be decisive. For one to be the best leader for a company, he should be aware of the company's goals, mission, and vision. This is to mean he should always work towards them that is he should always focus on the results to be per the stipulated mission and vision of the company. If a leader works towards making them achievable, then he is a good leader. This not with standing he should a leader should be empathetic (Blanchard & Miller, 2012). Based on the definition of a leader, he acts to lead different kinds of people towards a specific goal. In this case, he will need to be able to always understand his associate's feelings so that they can feel at home and at least respect him for his quality. This will make the company run accordingly. He should also be an optimistic person. There is no way one
