Marriage is about loyalty, love, and building a life together for hopefully, the rest of your days. In other countries, though the value of it being precious and sacred may apply, marriage is also an act of necessity for status, bloodline preservation, or perhaps survival itself. There’s at first glance, many differences in the global values of marital union. The similarity is that regardless of where you go, marriage is a legally binding contract and the responsibilities of the “ideal” wife are inescapable.
