CheckPoint: I/O Devices Write three 350- to 700-word technical descriptions of the sequential process of installing three different I/O devices of your choice. You may design the descriptions to look like technical documents or papers that might appear in a computer maintenance and training manual. Output: A-Sound, B-Video Input: C-I-Pod or other device A- Sound system installation: You can have over the top, fantastic, high-dollar speakers but they won’t mean a thing unless your sound card can match them. Before the speakers, the upgrading of your sound card is a must. Here’s how: 1. Shut down your computer . Remove all cables and peripheral devices. 2. Remove the side panel from your tower. You may need to remove screws or manipulate latches. If you are unsure of how to remove your side panel, please see your computer manual. 3. Locate a slot that matches your card type, and remove the slot cover screw. Slide out the slot cover. You will likely need to install your audio cards in a PCI-Express or PCI slot.
