increase reliability. A case study protocol is essential,p eecsially for a multiple case study research project. In developing the case studyo cporol,t a discussion of the details of the research operationalisation is required. As discussed in Chapter 2, quality management eimepnl tation involves three dimensions of change, i.e. content, context andc epsrso. The discussed enabling elements of the EFQM model characterise the elesm oefn the dimension of content. The discussion continued by emphasising culturdei,v iidnuals and the organisational- related environment in characterising the dimen sioofn context. Similarly, the implementation decisions and actions charactehries ed itmension of process. Regarding the relationship between these dimensions, as rcuocntesdt in Figure 3.2, the research operationalisation will be discussed in the follnogw isubsections. This discussion is expected to lead to a research framework as a breafseircence structure for conducting 64 Quality management implementation the field research. To guide the discussion ona rrecshe operationalisation, the important research issues need to be identified. A detailaebdo eration of the research issues is summarised in the case study protocol, which isc rdibeesd in Appendix A. 3.3.2 The content: quality management Research operationalisation in the dimension oft ecnotn includes: (i) a review of the elements of the EFQM models, (ii) a detailed disciouns of research variables, and (iii) an assessment of quality management achievement. The review of elements of the quality management mdoel The elements of content are defined based on eltesm oef nthe EFQM model. Even though the focus of this research is on elemen tesn oafblers, it is also useful to include an evaluation of the relationships of all the elnetms eas a complete constructed model. Since the EFQM model is developed for the Europseitauna tion, it is necessary to first review whether the elements of the model can bed iuns enon-European countries.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
