Good morning everyone! Thank you all for coming! Have you ever wanted to make your business ideas become real with close to zero effort and personal investments? Well, dream no more, because crowdfunding is here for you! Today I’m going to talk about crowdfunding . I’ve dedicated hours and hours to delving into this unknown area, so now I’m appropriate to present you this topic. The purpose of my presentation is to show you reasons why you should use crowdfunding as a tool for attracting capital . Firstly I’ll tell you what is crowdfunding, then I’ll describe its pros and cons , and in the end I’ll show you how easy it is to start your own crowdfunding campaign. My presentation won’t last more than 10 minutes, and, if you have any questions I’ll be glad to hear them. So, let’s begin? Probably all of you heard about crowdfunding as a tool of raising money for implementing new business ideas ? Well, that’s a brief definition of crowdfunding. Сrowdfunding is a method of collecting many small contributions by means of an online funding platform. It started to become a mainstream in the United States and later in other countries when Brian Camelio, a Boston musician and computer programmer, launched ArtistShare in 2004. It started as a website where musicians could seek donations from their fans to bring their digital recordings on market , and has evolved into a fundraising platform for video and photography projects as well as music. ArtistShare’s first crowdfunding project was Maria Schneider’s jazz album “Concert in a Garden.” Schneider offered a tiered system of rewards. For a $9.95 contribution , for example, a backer got to be among the first customers to download the album upon its release. Fans who contributed $250 or more were listed in the album booklet as participants who “helped to make this recording possible.” One fan who contributed $10,000 was listed as executive producer.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
