Running HeadBUS 5113 – ORGANIZATIONAL THEORY & BEHAVIOR 2**Abstract**Attitudes are something that can positively or negatively affects a person's behavior in differentways. As we are a human being, I don't think that a person always be aware of his or her attitudeor the effect it is having on behavior. Forex ample a person who has positive attitudes towardshis work and co-workers (such as contentment, friendliness, etc.) can positively influence aroundthem. The fact is that every attitude has three components abbreviated and represented as ABCmodel of attitudes: which means A, stands for affective, B for behavioral, and C stands forcognitive. The affective component refers to the emotional reaction one has toward an attitudeobject. In a simple word like, if I feel scared something or any situation that had recorded in mymind as a remembrance and when I think about it or see a picture of it like snake, that exactlyrefers to emotional reaction.**Selective perception**Perception can be caused by internal or external factors, like things that could affect us from ourinternal body that we only know we feel, whereas the external factors that can affect as fromoutside, and influence surrounding us. This can be noticed with in three stages like our Selection,Organization and Interpretation which choose stimuli our attraction. As selective perceptionrefers to the process by which we select, categorize, and analyze stimuli from our environment tocreate meaningful experiences while blocking out stimuli that contradicts our beliefs orexpectations. That is, we focus on certain aspects in our environment while excluding others. Inour example, I personally focused with my full attention on education study and writing books
