Participation
My participation has always been present in class when needed. I feel that I should speak
at least once each time I go to class. The reason for that is to have my voice heard intellectually
and to be remembered. That is to me the student who’s attempting to be engaging within class
whether it’s a discussion or just reading an article. I felt myself to be a good contributor within
the class. I wouldn’t label myself an outstanding contributor just yet due to me need a to take
more initiative with helping other students.
On the 30
th
of August, I participated within the activity Pierre and his other facilitator
came with, having us stand up and toss around a “ball” to speak our opinions. I had gotten asked
how would I prove why the university should tear down a certain community. I answered with a
suggestion of a conference but stated although there’s no legitimate way to go about that in a
greater good concept because the university is still tearing down a residency. I wrote my part of
