Greg Lim 1/27/08 TA: Chris Dean Culture The culture of the workplace is one of the most important aspects of any company. A good culture often produces higher productivity and less tension while a poor culture can cause internal turmoil that negatively affects productivity and employee happiness. While I do not have any experience in the work force culture to draw from for this assignment, I believe I can construct my “ideal” workplace culture. For myself and others to work at their best, the workplace culture should have open communication, a clearly defined vision, and a positive attitude. Communication is an important aspect of any venture but especially in a company where people are constantly in contact with one another. When everyone within the company regardless of rank can communicate correctly and efficiently, more work can get done faster without breakdowns. Additionally, if there are good lines of communication, employees won’t be afraid to offer input or suggestions that could
