INTRODUCTION
As a Real Estate Valuation student at first I choose to continue my Degree
in this course I am actually very confuse about the career field that I am going to step in
after I graduated. I am lack of knowledge about real estate. But I choose to be here
because I am sure as God bring me here there must be usefull for my future. After so
many research and half year be here study about real estate it built an interest on study
real estate on me.
Real Estate Valuation can also known as Property Management of some
people. Specifically, a study of real estate is actually a career on helping people to value,
manage and develop their property. There are actually some of the career path which a
real estate student can work for after he/she graduated. They are as a Valuer in bank,
Property Manager, Facilities Manager, Property Developer, Estate Agent, Property
Consultant and Property Trust/REITs Manager. There are some definitions on the career
path stated above firstly is Valuer.Valuer is a professional who has been educated and
trained to determine the value of fixed property, execute feasibility studies and provide
expert advice reports on property related matters. While Property Manager is the person
who manage the personal property, equipment, tooling and physical capital assets that are
acquired and used to build, repair and maintain end item deliverables. Facilities Manager
is a person who manage the maintenance and care of commercial or institution at
buildings, such as hospital, clinics, hotels, resorts, schools, office complexes, sports
arenas or convention centers. Next is Property Developer, it is actually a person or a
