Briefly summarize each one. The first option is the IQ discrepancy model. This model uses an IQ test to assess where the student’s score is in relation to general scores. This model uses this to see if there is a big difference in the scores and can use multiple subjects. The second option is response to intervention (RTI). RTI uses early support to help students. These students who are struggling are monitored for growth after support and high-quality instruction. RTI
