Once thevalues were measured we used them to calculate the pump’s G.P.M and C.I.R displacement.Results:The results of the labs are enclosed in the attached lab handoutsConclusions/Recommendations:In conclusion it is important to understand how different pumps work and their differences tobe able to better select the correct pump for the required job.Real World Applications:Pumps are used every day in the real world to power pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Forexample, CEMEX (a cement company) uses pumps to force the cement through pipes into thesilos.
