PERSONAL NARRATIVE ESSAY 1 Now and Then Brainstorm FRESHMAN YEAR BEHAVIOR OR THOUGHT THOUGHT: What I thought was... BEHAVIOR: How I behaved was... SPECIFIC EXAMPLE OF ONE SCHOOL I thought I was extremely stupid, in a lot of things other than science. I always wanted to talk and be active instead of sit down and do work. I talked to my friends way too much, forgot to raise my hand, spoke out a lot, and goofed around. I realized that I had to grow up, and that my behavior was inappropriate and that it made me seem annoying. FRIENDSHIPS I had no friends, nobody really liked me and everyone judged me I didn’t talk to many people, I was always very defencive. I later realized, it really doesn't matter what people think about you, although I was still insecure, but low key. FAMILY I only have my mom I was upset around family events, and was worried that people would make fun of me for only having my mom in my life. I realized that, yes, I don’t have much of a family, but there’s a reason why. They suck. MUSIC I really liked angry/ “emo” music I looked the part, i acted like i was sooooo cool for liking different and “the best” type of music. Very anti any other music than the bands that i've listened to. I learned about open mindedness, and how being open minded is a great thing to do and to experience new things. EXTRA I really wanted to I joined robotics, I now really love 1 - WORKSHEET -
CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES join student government and I wanted to join robotics because it seemed interesting. but slacked on getting into student government student government and i’m upset that I slacked into getting into it. THE ENVIRONMENT I thought it was cool but I never really explored.
