Running head: ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT AT EDMONTON CITY 2 QUESTION 1 Edmonton is a capital on the north of Saskatchewan River and it is the central point of the Edmonton Metropolitan Region. It is thus the capital state and the headquarters of Alberta's Canadian Province ("Home", 2019). The ERM program manager of Edmonton Ken Baker once said that his only view on one's taking up risk is that the potentiality of a reward is more than the hazard. The city therefore in 2012-2013 outlined several measures it could use in implementing the Enterprise Risk Management for the capital's risk focus. Edmonton’s first steps for implementing the ERM did not bear any success although some improvements started showing when the city developed a new and better strategic plan in 2008 which was called “The Way Ahead”. In the implementation of its ERM, five questions came up (2019); 1. What is the strategic vision and goals? 2. What are the key strategies for the achievement of the goals? 3. What are the key objectives of the strategy? 4. What will be the key measures for the strategic objectives?
