Houston 1Do you believe that the educational system is a controlled institution? If so, who is in control? Is it the students, the professors, or someone else? I feel that students and professors have some control over the educational system. However, the government plays a significant part in controlling the funding. Having an education is a must if you want to have a carrier and not just a job. The professors, people in the community along with the private organizations and State control that curriculum, requirements need for school enrollment and graduation for elementary, secondary schools and colleges. All states governments in the US writes and governs their own education laws. However, the United States Federal government has placed laws to provide consistency in education across the country, buy the use of accreditation and professional standards. In recent years, the role of the United States Federal government has grown. The Federal contributes 8 percent of funding to the elementary and secondary though program such as Department of Health and Human Services as while as Head Start and School Lunch program also the Department of Education (ED).
