The world of Criminal Justice tries to keep up with the modern world of technology, in the recent years it has passed some in some aspects. With technology growing faster than some individuals can keep up, it is critical that all departments in the criminal justice world to keep up. There have been improvements in the use of different modes of transportation for officers, along with the computer software that is used. On a greater scale there have been new databases that were created to keep criminal information up to date, along with tracking different kinds of criminal activity and reoccurring locations. These advances and not only help officers but move the entire criminal justice world in the right direction to prevent more crimes. Improving technology is one of the easier molds to change, something that is already working but making it much more efficient adds to advances. Yet, there are many more items being invented today that could change the criminal justice world for the future. When the internet was developed the understanding that individuals could use it to create a new kind of crime was not a main concern, but in this era it has become one of the highest rates of crime. New creations to stop these attacks are on the way that could change the game totally. With any technology there is room for improvement, software is always being reconfigured.
