Grade Level: 5-6 year olds Objectives: The students will be making prints using paint and different objects found in nature, such as rocks, tall grass,  sticks, wood chips, leaves and flowers. Students will be able to describe characteristics of a bear habitat. Students will make a bear habitat by cutting out the prints and gluing them on a 12x18 sheet of paper Students will view and discuss art work by Nicholas Bustamante. Materials: Several colors of tempera paint. 15-20 pieces of white paper per student.   Objects from nature: o Rocks o Tall grass o Sticks o Wood chips o Leaves o Flowers 12x18 paper Glue  Scissors  Pencil Drying rack Art work "The Ark" by Nicholas Bustamante Examples of bear habitats from: o   http://www.hkconserve.com/index.php o http://www.wildlife.state.nc.us/pg07_WildlifeSpeciesCon/pg7b5.htm        Motivation:
