Matteo Radoslovich Physics / Simon October 8th 2018 Buggy Racer Lab Purpose: The purpose of this lab is to figure out what final time, velocity, and spot a slow car crashes into a fast car. Hypothesis: The two cars will collide at 25 cm after approximately 3 seconds. Diagram: We will find out how the buggies meet by calculating the approximate time that it takes for the cars to get from one end of the meterstick to the other. Using that approximation, we can calculate the velocity of both the cars and the time from the velocity. Materials: The materials used are as follows: meter stick, red (fast) car, blue (slow) car, iPhone stopwatch, and masking tape.

Procedure: First, we placed the meterstick on the table and taped it down. Afterwards, two people placed the the cars on opposite sides, with the blue being at “0 m” and the red being at 1 m.” We held them down while turning on and then let them go after the count of three. We recorded the approximate time that the two cars collided. After taking the measurements for our

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
