Matteo Radoslovich Physics, 1 Simon, 4 11/15/18 Project Inquiry Lab Problem: The problem was figuring out what total velocities the balls would shoot at on the low and medium settings of the cannon. Hypothesis: The velocity of the low will be approximately 3m/s and the medium will be approximately 5m/s. IV/DV: The independent variable is the setting of the cannon and the dependent variable is the final distance travelled by the ball. Materials: The materials were the tape measure, cannon, iPhone video camera, and yellow balls. Procedure: For the procedure, measuring tape was placed on the ground with both ends being held stable. The height of the cannon was measured in inches and than converted to 0.2159m. The cannon was set on one end of the measuring tape and the ball was fired twice on low and twice on high, both at zero degrees. One member would record the ball with an iPhone and playback the video in slow motion to measure the point in inches where the ball landed.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
