Introduction for fast track couriers It is the end of the 2011 financial year and they are an external change management consultant employee by fast track couriers. They want to change management for approval. ORGANISATION’S STRATEGIC GOALS To expand business in the metropolitan area and increases market share by 7.5%. To expand the business to include small and medium package deliveries to regional NSW. To develop and use new technology such as PDA devices and GPS system. To develop and maintain a cohesive and well-motivated workforce. Management has identified the following high priority change requirements. GOALS RELATED TO ORGANISATION’S STRATEGIC Goal A :Implement PDA/GPS usage (productivity function) on truck fleet in the first quarter of the 2012 financial year Goal B:Implement one person/truck policy using automatic lift gates in the first quarter of the 2012 financial year.

Feasible but needs to be carefully managed with a change and communication strategy PDA/GPS Training 150/hour 1.Some drivers will not attend the training course because they have a resistance with the change and they thought it’s waste of time. 2.Productivity impacts during training session 1.The driver can use the new devices correctly.
