Materials & Preparation: - PowerPoint Slides - 2 copies of the worksheet for the learning activity - 15 copies of the assessment - 15 copies of the exit slip - outline for struggling students Procedures with TIMES: Step 1 : Ask students to describe characteristics of a gifted and talented student, call on three students. (1 minutes) Step 2 : Explain the characteristics of gifted and talented students (2 minutes) A. Discuss when gifted and talented services were first introduced in schools (20th century) B.
