Types and functions of other cells 2. Characteristics of matrix 3. Relative amount of space occupied by cells vs. matrix - Matrix is composed of: 1. Fibrous proteins 2. Clear gel called ground substance - Fertilized egg becomes an embryo with layers - Three primary germ layers: 1. Ectoderm (outer): gives rise to epidermis and nervous system 3. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
