Maxine Rudolph EXP105: Week 2 Intentional Learning This book describes the word learning as “ Taking in the world around you through your senses, making sense of it, and responding appropriately.” This means you process life using a combination of your five senses and the other senses to make a choice on what actions (depending on your situation) will have the best outcome. For example, you know the fire is hot but you are freezing. You know getting too close will hurt so you stay at a safe distance to the fire but close enough to warm up. To be an intentional learner is to be continuous in taking in and understanding knowledge and information that is learned and applying that knowledge when doing tests or helping peers. Intentional learners have ways of gathering and remembering what they have learned. For intentional learners, learning is more of an objective or goal that they want to attain and master, rather than to just learn by accident, like incidental learners.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
