Savannah Pearson Period 5 August 5, 2019 Theme and Identity Reflection: Signs of Hope What do you look forward to? Everyone as a person is always looking forward to something. Something to keep them going. Something to distract them. Something to tell them everything will turn out okay. These signs of hope can look different for every individual. Whether they be as simple as waiting for lunch during fourth period, or as grand as hoping for a new job. Whatever they are, everyone's signs of hope allow them to be hopeful for something good and better to come. For me, I never think about how impactful signs of hope are in my life. Most of the time I feel my self worth is defined by how much effort I put in or how much I achieve. But if I take a break and think about it, the signs of hope in my life are what keep me going and keeps me moving forward. When things get over-complicated and I become stressed out a sign of hope can be as simple as walking outside, taking a deep breath, and realizing everything will end up
