Name five primitives provided by Open GL libraries, and explain what each of it does OpenGL: OpenGL is mainly considered an Application Programming Interface that provides us with a large set of functions that we can use to manipulate graphics and images. However, OpenGL by itself is not an Application Programming Interface but merely a specification, developed and maintained by the Khronos Group. The primitive type determines how OpenGL interprets and renders the sequence of vertices. Applications render primitives by specifying a primitive type and a sequence of vertices with associated data is called OpenGL. OpenGL provides ten different primitive types for drawing. OpenGL is a Device independent graphics libraries that allow the programmer to use a common set of functions within an application. The OpenGL way of creating graphics is used widely in both academia and industry. It is a cross-language, cross-platform application programming interface (API) for rendering 2D and 3D vector graphics. The API is typically used to interact with a graphics processing unit (GPU), to achieve hardware-accelerated rendering. OpenGL libraries are: 1. Points 2. Lines 3. Polylines 4. Filled regions 5. Raster images 1. Points Vertices indicated by the client as two-dimensional that seems to be, with just x and y directions are appointed a z facilitate equivalent to zero by OpenGL. A geometrical point is an area in space. It has no different attributes. It has no

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
