Class #5 Reflection Was there any information presented in today’s class that made you realize that something was omitted from your school-based sex education that you wish was covered and if so, what? One of the topics from this class that was omitted from my school-based sex education is sex and disability. Before this lecture, I had never thought about a sexually active life for people with disabilities and how they are affected by being portrayed as asexual human beings. Moreover, they continuously face body image issues, self-esteem issues, and many fears while engaging in sexual activity. I found interesting watching the videos of sexual positions that are comfortable for both females and males with disabilities. The videos left me shocked because I have never seen people with disabilities engaging in sexual activity. Besides, I found uplifting how the partners of people with disabilities support and communicate with the individual in the relationship that has a physical impediment.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
