Arango Week 2 Reflection A common everyday practice that humans do that is considered morally permissible that aliens might find morally impermissible is driving cars. Driving around in cars lets humans get to places where they need to be and on time. Cars also emit gas for them to able to run, this gas is harmful to the environment. While this harms the environment it does not make it morally impermissible. A humane morality would require that an act not cause harm to a human, and avoid any unnecessary harm to a non-human animal. This allows the act to be ok to do but also ok to not do it. The aliens might find the act of driving cars to be morally impermissible because of the harm it causes to the planet. They are also not actually humans so a human morality would not apply to them. They may also not understand the act of driving cars because they may not have cars where they are from and also they might not see how it could be of benefit to
