CPSC 100 Project Proposal Household electronic vacuum cleaner self-navigation technology and algorithm Participants Andrew Leong Daniel Choi Jonathan Gilmore Team Name: Team Roomba Description Computational Thinking Focus: CT Applications. Our team is interested in self-navigation technology, and has decided to research self-navigating household electronic vacuum cleaners. Goal: We hope to develop an understanding of how these devices work so that we can explore what the benefits and pitfalls of the current technology is, whether the search path algorithm is effective and efficient, and how the application of similar technology could be useful in other industries on a larger scale. We will display our understanding of these devices and algorithms through a report while also attempting to demonstrate a similar algorithm by using Snap!
