Why is it not enough to give generalized statements about levels of resistance and levels of force when articulating a use of force incident?When dealing with use of force general statements can get Officer’s in trouble and it does not do any good for those officers who truly attempt to their jobs with their true heart. I know many officers who want nothing more than to keep everyone safe. However, there are some officers like the one I so oftenmention who only went to jail for 11 months for shooting an unarmed black man. I believe that in everyone’s case, victim and officer, that having a full report will help the investigator figure out whether the use of force was right or wrong. That way victims will get their justice, and Officers will be forced to get what they deserve for what they’ve done. I think it needs to have better Media publicity for those officers who do actually focus on only using force when necessary. There is a fine line between
