Snow and ice control policy: The purpose of this policy is to provide Edmonton citizens with a safe and reliable removable system of snow and ice, while protecting and environment and overall providing excellent customer service. Within this policy is states how to properly handle snow within roadways, residential streets, trails/sidewalks, and transit facilities (City Operations, 2018, pp.1-2). In the event of a severe snowfall, all available resources will be deployed, the director of infrastructure operations will delegate control over the available resources, plowing on residential roads will be plowed bare, and there will be a declaration of a parking ban on all residential roads (City Operations, 2018, pg.3). In the event of a snow emergency, the Emergency Operations Centre will be activated. All snow clearings will be through the Emergency Operations Centre and will focus on plowing for emergency and essential services, until general mobility can be restored (City Operations, 2018, pg.3).

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
