Student observation Jessica Morlang June 2019 Student will be referred to as “L”. L sits in the back of the room close to the para professional. He taps on his desk and looks around as to be trying to find something to do. All the while, Mrs. H is teaching in the front of the class. He starts to tap on the student’s chair in front of him, waiting for a reaction. The student turns around and asks him to quit, he smiles and say, “NO” In a loud and animated voice looking around to see if anyone is paying attention. The para walks up to L to ask him to sit still and he will not make eye contact and turns towards the wall beside him. L started to kick the student’s desk in front of him and then got up and walked to the tissues and pulled out several tissues. The para met him at the tissue area and walked him to the hallway. There they walked up and down and had a conversation about what is expected in the classroom. L leaned on the wall near the fire alarm and continued to brush his hand over it. The para convinced him to sit on the stiars with her while they waited for the SPED director to come and pull L out of class to reset. L

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
