EDUC 606- Learning Activity 4 Page 2 1. KID- Missouri Kindergarten Inventory of Developmental Skills Description: I. The first test I would like to explore is the KIDS, otherwise known as Missouri Kindergarten Inventory of Developmental Skills, Alternate Form. This test was written by Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. The test was published by Assessment Resource Center, University of Missouri- Columbia, College of Education, 2800 Maguire Blvd, Columbia, MO, 65201. The purpose of this test is to screen students at or before Kindergarten entrance. This test was published in 1982 and was reviewed in yearbook Volume 11. This test was written for the population of children between 48-72 months. The scores are collected in 6 different categories, Number Concepts, Auditory Skills, Language Concepts, Paper and Pencil skills, Visual Skills, &Gross Motor Skills. This test is administered individually. II. This test is administered one on one and can be scored automatically as a pass or fail.
