Growth. The act of increasing in size. Learning. The collection of knowledge through experience or being taught. People learn in many different ways. Life is one of the biggest teachers. Going through life, you do things that are right to you and are wrong to someone else. You meet people that teach you a different way on how to live life. People who will reveal a part of you that you didn’t even know existed. While in the moment you may question their motive but, eventually it will soon reveal itself for the better. “I can’t figure out what’s wrong with you if you don’t tell me” says Julian. We sit in silence. “Speak up.” I can tell by the tone of his voice he’s become annoyed. “Look I know there’s something wrong.” He say’s calmer. “You gotta talk to me.” Still no response. “Ok ... look, when you feel like talking call me back.” He hangs up the phone before I can say goodbye. I suddenly break out into tears. Frustrated with myself. Why can’t I speak up? This is someone I should be able to tell anything to. Someone I can pour all my emotions out to. Yet for some reason I can’t. Tears still streaming down my face I open up my computer and begin to type. To him. To Julian. Everything I was feeling. The words come to me. Like they were there all along.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
