1 Business Requirements 1.1 Project Overview This business requirements document will focus on a shoe company determined to expand its business in the local US market and beyond. The business requirements will focus on creating innovative products that are designed to meet customer needs. There are business initiatives that will be essential in making this model workable for the organization. One is investing in endorsements from sportsmen and demonstrate the products designed to the market offer value and create high performance. This business requirement document is an important step in designing quality information systems. An information system is essential in an organization since it defines the way people communicate and interact with technology to support the business. For businesses to enjoy high revenues they need to improve on the efficiency of their operations and information system is a tool that enables companies to achieve the high levels of productivity and efficiency in business operations. This requirements document will elaborate on the information tool to an organization that improves efficiency and maximizes the profits. 4

1.2 Background Including Current Process Describe the background to the project, (the same section may be reused in the Quality Plan) include: This project is designed to offer solutions to customers through documentation of their needs and expectations through improvement in technology, the existing technology needs to be modified and some hardware replaces to improve operational efficiency. The project goal is to document the customer needs and expectations that will provide a foundation to communicate via technology that will satisfy the customer and business needs. According to Dale (2019), a quality business plan should have an industry analysis section, market analysis, marketing plan, operations and service plan outlining the key partnership opportunities as well as financial projections where the company envisages to get their cash for operations. The IT role for this project is to help the organization become more productive through increasing performance while improving customer experience through enhancing managerial decisions. According to Evans (2018), knowledge sharing is essential in determining the success of an organization and especially in cross-functional IT projects, this is so because for an organization to achieve the desired results they will need to utilize a variety of disciplines.
