Matthew Cornillez Reflection Project: Volunteer Before volunteering for this project, I have previously volunteered my time for another organization. I don’t recall what the name of the organization was, but what we did was we planted trees and spread fertilizer around the trees we planted. I went with my brother and it was for about 2 hours in the middle of the day. Overall, it was a fun experience and I was able to use that volunteer time in my required hours for school. As far as helping other nations, I haven’t volunteered my time for that. This volunteer was more local. I also volunteered my time to help set up and work the Tempe Triathlon and Half-Ironman. I went through Mesa Community college s exercise science club. It was for Michelle Jueng s class. It was pretty simple. What we did was help set up stations for the event, help run the event, then help break down the even when it was done. I was able to get extra credit based on the amount of time I volunteered. No

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
