Davis Franck and Kerry Orrick RMIN4000 Homework Assignment 1 February 12, 2007 1. Risk is the uncertainty of something occurring. The two meanings are fairly consistent because one is not for certain the he or she will become ill after using the skin creams and lotions. Once can still use the lotions and have no effects, but there is the uncertainty that something harmful could happen if one continues to use the product. 2. Personal Risk: We know she drives a Toyota. Although Toyotas may be safe cars, she still faces a risk of injury or death every time she drives. We also know she goes running in a bad area of town, which puts her at risk of injury or death as well. Also she has a dog that is prone to attack people (it already bit her roommate). The dog places her at risk of injury as well. Property Risk: She is at risk of losing up to 5500 dollars on her Toyota if it is stolen or she is in an accident. In addition, she is at risk of losing her other possessions, such as her TV, stereo, clothing, computer, DVD player, and furniture due to damage or theft. She and her roommates are also at risk due to damage to the apartment, especially water damage caused by the washer. The dog is also a property risk because it could cause damage from chewing or scratching.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
