1 Ethical Concerns & Their Importance 1. Confidentiality : Maintaining the secrecy of the participant who has taken part in the survey. Basically, personal information is not revealed. Importance of this concern is that the participant would not face any mental or physical harm from the people around. 2. Consent : Consent is taken when another person’s information or data is added in their own project. Importance of consent is that the person should give information what they feel comfortable with, it is up to them what they must tell and what not. 3. No Socially desirable harm: in this concern questions asked should not be direct they person taking part may feel insulted through the questions. Importance of this is that sensitive people may feel bad if questions were asked directly like question should not be
