Jimmy Ronayne Section 4 Carl Anderson Roosevelt Middle School, Grade 6 FIELD TRIP #1 1. Roosevelt Middle school is a school of about 440 students that are about 65% white and 35% minority. According to greatschools.com, the fifth grade averages about 63% proficient on the reading PSSA, 72% on math,. All of the grade averages were about the state average except for the sixth grade math. About 80% of the students are economically disadvantage, decided by whether they qualify for free lunch or not, and a third of them are special needs. The district spends about $10,066 per pupil. 2. When I arrived in the school we were taken to the cafetorium(cross between auditorium and cafeteria) and the guidance counselor supervising our visited showed us a large number of students receiving free breakfast which coincided with the idea of the free lunch and the students being economically disadvantage. In math class and home economics the ratio of white to minority students was about 50/50, in Language arts it was about 40/60.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
