The United States always been a hot discussion around the world, but it builds curiosity
in the
state of thought on how the system is organized to balance and keep democracy alive in
this country. In fact, the hero of the story is the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court is the highest
federal court and the head of the judicial branch of the government. In fact, it’s a role is to keep
this great country intact, in order, and balances democracy. Furthermore, it has the power to look
after the other two branches of the government. Matter of fact, it has more than two hundred
years of History.
Next, it is important to raise the question on how the Supreme Court work and
how does it deliver justice throughout. So, individuals can learn more about how the system
works. Throughout this paper, I will be discussing the history of the supreme court, how a case
makes its way to be heard by the supreme court, how the current number of eight justice evolved
overtime, and the differences between a strict and liberal interpretation of the United States
constitution in deciding cases brought before the court.
In addition, the history of the Supreme court holds a profound structure over the years to
keep stability and order. In fact, the supreme court has the ultimate control over the laws passed
in the country. It was developed in seventeen eighty-nine by article three of the constitution,
granting the congress the power to create inferior federal courts. Furthermore, the constitution
permitted congress to decide the organization of the supreme court. Therefore, the act was later
signed into law by president George Washington. Although Supreme Court is a system to
interpret the law, it had a tough condition that has to be followed. The condition insists that the
court would be made up of six justices who would serve on the court until they died or retired.
As tough as it sounds, the court didn’t have any terms in its first term, but mostly focused on
organizational procedures.

As well as that, cases follow three different routes to reach the supreme court. First, the
jurisdiction of the supreme court or original jurisdiction, meaning that the supreme court hears
the case directly without an intermediate state. In other words, the Supreme Court gets to hear
